Mukesh Ambani threw a grand party at his house in Mumbai to celebrate the engagement of his youngest son Anant Ambani. Anant today got engaged to Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant.
Several Bollywood celebs were present at the gathering to greet and wish the new couple. Shah Rukh Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and recently turned parents Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat attended the party.
Arriving in their ethnic best, Ranbir and Alia held hands as they made their way inside Antila. As the dhol players belted out music, the media darlings could be seen grooving to the rhythm, while mingling with others at the function.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were seen sporting happy smiles as they were showered with rose petals by guests and well wishers.
Earlier in the day, the couple had a traditional roka (engagement) ceremony at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan.
In June, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani had hosted future daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant's arangetram (a ceremony to mark the completion of training for a classical dancer) at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.
Anant Ambani is expected to head Reliance's new energy business.
